Halo: Arms Race is a trilogy of short films created in collaboration with Bungie Studios, Neill Blomkamp, WETA Digital, and Origami Digital LLC. Kept under tight wraps, the set was announced unexpectedly on July 10, 2007 with the release of the first video. Along with Museum, Halo: Arms Race represents the Halo franchise's first foray into the world of live-action films, and possibly the only one, as the development of the Halo Movie has been indefinately postponed.
