Jiralhanae

Summary

The Brutes, or Jiralhanae by their own name, are a race first encountered in Halo 2.

The Brutes are tough and difficult enemies in combat. Brutes are not as understood as the elites. They fight in packs. Brutes are physically stronger than the elite although they show similar battlefield ablities.

Combat Tips

You can defeat a brute with certain weapons such as the Covenant Carbine, Brute Shot, Needler, and the Brute Plasma Rifle. Be cautious because when one Brute has died an another brute notices that one is died it will go into berserk mode when it drops it's weapon and rams you with with the side of his shoulder or try to punch you. To dodge this attack you must jump or run to the side you can also try to shoot it's head or once you have jumped over the brute you can melee attack it's back.
