The White Weapons

White Weapons is the name of a bug located in Halo: Combat Evolved. While playing the game on a Xbox 360, there are piles of dead bodies scattered in the levels before 343 Guilty Spark, with ammo and health packs. These piles of weapons are sometimes colored white on the Xbox 360.

Theories

• One theory for this bug is that the patch for Xbox 360 fails to load the bitmaps of the weapons. This also may be due to the fact that the game was made for the original Xbox and not the 360.
• This bug could be the result of the different programming and graphic styles between the original Xbox and the Xbox 360
