Methane Tank

Methane Tanks are cylinder shaped structures used by Covenant Unggoy (Grunts).[1] They are large and resemble fuel tanks of modern trucks.[2] They provide a place for the creatures to breathe their methane atmosphere outside of their suits. Thus, Grunts remove their suits when entering a methane filled tank, as it is not needed.[1]
There is a main chamber for the Grunts to reside in and a smaller chamber in front where the Grunts can change into and out of their suits.[1] These structures often have posted guards to prevent the creatures inside from being caught off guard.[3]
When shot, the tanks may explode due to methane's high flammability.{{fact))The only time the methane tanks have known to come of are in Halo 3, and there face masks they breath in sometimes come of as well if you hit them in the face.
