UNSC Minotaur

Summary

The UNSC Minotaur was a UNSC destroyer. The Minoutar was stationed at the planet Reach in August 2552 when 314 Covenant vessels attacked. During the ensuing battle, the Minoutar was destroyed by a Covenant Flagship. The Covenant ship fired a needle-thin lance of energy at the Minoutar, which struck it on A deck, aft. The beam went through both sets of Titanium-A Battleplate, every deck, and the ship's reactor, exiting through H deck by the engines. The beam cut a ten-meter wide swath through the vessel, destroying it completely. the beam in question fired by a sort of covenant charged pulse laser; the weapon was mounted on a covenant flagship. Only two have yet been encountered, one of which was destroyed by the Iroquois, the other was captured by The Master Chief, Warrant Officer Polaski, Corporal Locklear, Sergeant Johnson, Cortana, and Lieutenant Haverson after the destruction of Installation 04..
