UNSC Herodotus

UNSC destroyer. The Herodotus was stationed above Reach in 2552. When 314 Covenant ships attacked the planet, the Herodotus was involved in the ensuing battle. During the fight, a Covenant Assault Carrier fired a needle-thin lance of Plasma at the Herodotus, one hundred thousand kilometers away. The beam cut through the ship stem to stern, bisecting it[1].
