The reclusive Jason Jones co-founded the computer game company Bungie Studios. Jason Jones founded the Bungie Company in 1991 along with Alexander Seropian. Jason Jones has worked on the games Myth, Marathon and Halo. It was Jason who thought up the name for the space cruiser "Pillar of Autumn." Jason was also the project lead of the game Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2.

Trivia

  • There is an easter egg in Halo 3 based off of him, which entails a missing persons poster found in a few levels, such as Floodgate and The Storm.
  • Another Easter egg to mention be would be the Lonely Soul Easter Egg in Halo 2 and Halo 3. Jason Jones is in fact the half-naked man. He can be seen on the level Halo.
  • Jason Jones was in the the acknowledgments page in the book Halo: The Fall of Reach.
  • Jason Jones said: "All the characters are bitmaps, you could only draw trapezoids. When you looked up and down in Marathon, it's actually just distorting the geometry. It's an optical illusion."Template:Fact
  • His least fondest memory from Halo: Combat Evolved was Burnie's girlfriend almost killing him with a dart gun at 3:00 A.M. in the morning.
  • According to Joseph Staten, Jason has a deep rich manly voice.
