McFarlane Toys/Halo Series 7
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
McFarlane Toys Halo Series 7 is an action figure series produced by McFarlane Toys. The series was released in March 2010. It includes characters from the Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo Wars video games.
Campaign
Sergeant Forge
The Sergeant Forge action figure is a replica of John Forge from Halo Wars. It is 6 inches tall and comes with a Shotgun, pistol, and two frag grenades. This figure has 26 points of articulation.
ONI Operative Dare
The ONI Operative Dare action figure is a replica of Veronica Dare from Halo 3: ODST. It is 6 inches tall and comes with an M7S Caseless Submachine Gun and an M6C/SOCOM. It features 26 points of articulation.
Unlike the Rookie figure from Series 6, Dare looks exactly as pictured. The SMG is still the same, except for more details. Interestingly, the pistol is painted differently than in the game to match the armor.
Tartarus
The Tartarus action figure is from the Brute, Tartarus, from Halo 2. It is 7 inches tall and comes with the Fist of Rukt and features 28 points of articulation. It is the first Halo 2 figure to be produced by McFarlane Toys.
Matchmaking
Spartan Hayabusa
There is currently one Hayabusa figure in the series, a steel variant with orange detail coloring. It is six inches tall and comes with a Rocket Launcher. The prototype however, was shown as steel with white detail as seen below, yet is incorrect as all versions released had orange detail instead. This figure is a Gamestop exclusive. Unlike most Spartans from Series 3 and up, this figure does not feature a trigger finger hand-mold. This is most likely so it can hold the Rocket Launcher better, thought it can hinder the holding of other weapons.
Spartan Mark V
The Spartan Mark V figure comes in a white color, with red as a secondary and detail coloring. It is six inches tall and comes with a Spartan Laser. This figure is a Target exclusive, as its colors match the store's color scheme. It is not featured on the back of the packaging.
It should be noted that this figure has unusual armor detail. It has a red stripe on the chest, similar to that of the red team leader from Halo Wars. The Spartan's knees are also red, which is not typical for a Halo 3 multiplayer model.
Spartan Rogue
The Spartan Rogue action figure comes in a blue color, with yellow detail coloring. It is six inches tall and includes a Sniper Rifle and two Plasma Grenades, and features 26 points of articulation.
Spartan Security
The Spartan Security comes in an orange color, with blue detail coloring. It is six inches tall and includes two Brute Maulers. Unlike most Spartan figures of later series, the Spartan Security does not have a trigger-finger hand mold, but rather the original closed hand from Series 1 and 2 Spartans. This could be so that the figure holds the Maulers more naturally, though, ironically, the Maulers are easier to fit in the hands of a Spartan with a trigger finger. The weapons are mildly difficult to fit in the Spartan's hands because it needs to squeeze four fingers in to the trigger guard. This figure is a Toys 'R' Us exclusive and has 26 points of articulation.
Elite Flight
The Elite Flight action figure comes in a yellow color and blue detail coloring. It is six inches tall and is equipped with a Type-50 particle beam rifle, and features 28 points of articulation. This is the first Elite figure to come in the Flight Harness. The actual figure comes with a Beam Rifle, though the prototype shows a Carbine.
Weapon Pack
The Weapon Pack includes weapons for the 6-inch figures made by McFarlane Toys. It is exclusive to Target and Zellers in Canada. It is a remake of the original weapons pack from Series 5, which was mistakenly labeled as "Halo Wars Weapons Pack". It was noted that the Fuel Rod Gun had been made larger then the original Fuel Rod in Series 5.[1]
It includes:
- Fuel Rod Gun
- Spartan Laser
- 2 Paegaas Workshop Spikers
- 2 SMGs
- 2 Shotguns
- 2 Okarda'phaa-pattern plasma rifles
- 2 Plasma Pistols
- 2 Frag Grenades
- 2 Plasma Grenades
