Overview
Design details
- Main article: Sentinel beam
The Arcane Sentinel Beam differs from the standard models fielded by Aggressor Sentinels in a handful of factors. In addition to having a white chassis, its beam is more powerful than that of the standard model and has a faster cooldown, though has less ammunition capacity.[2]
Usage
One such weapon was used by Kaidon Thav 'Sebarim, a Sangheili commanding officer in the Banished during the campaign on Installation 07 in 2559-2560.[5] During the campaign, he used the weapon in a combat encounter with John-117, though was defeated by the Spartan.[6]
In-game information
- "Continuous fire, directed hardlight energy weapon useful for stripping shields."
- — Description from the Academy's Weapon Drills menu.[7]
In campaign, the Arcane Sentinel Beam is a special weapon awarded to the player after defeating the High Value Target, Thav 'Sebarim. The weapon can be acquired at any Forward Operating Base within the campaign, and fires a much more powerful beam, with a faster cooldown than the standard sentinel beam, though at the cost of lower ammunition capacity (from 250 to 80).[2]
