Special weapons (Halo Infinite)
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
Special weapons are variant weapons that can be unlocked in the campaign of Halo Infinite by performing various tasks. They can be broadly divided into two categories; boss and firebase weapons - alien weapons acquired by defeating High Value Targets and human weapons that can be unlocked by acquiring Valor and requisitioning them at Forward Operating Bases.
Outside of their campaign use, special weapons can be used in the game's multiplayer as part of custom game settings and Forge placement.[1]
Boss weapons
Special Banished and Forerunner weapons can be acquired by defeating High Value Targets and bosses during the campaign. The sole exception is the M41 Tracker, a human rocket launcher wielded by one of the bosses.
Most boss weapons can be spawned at a Forward Operating Base once their respective boss is killed.
