The Scatterbound Heatwave is a variant of the Heatwave.[1][5]
Overview
Design details

The Scatterbound Heatwave is variant of the standard Heatwave. In addition to having a white chassis, its fires modified and repurposed Z-180 Scattershot rounds, which seek out targets after a ricochet.[5]
Usage
One such weapon was used by Wraithmaster Ordo 'Mal, a Sangheili in the Banished during the campaign on Installation 07 in 2559-2560.[7] During the campaign, he used the weapon in a combat encounter with John-117, though was defeated by the Spartan.[8]
In-game information
In campaign, the Scatterbound Heatwave is a special weapon awarded to the player after defeating the High Value Target, Ordo 'Mal. The weapon can be acquired at any Forward Operating Base within the campaign, and fires projectiles, which travel faster and seek out targets after bouncing off surfaces.[5]
