Summary
Diego Garcia is a small tropical island in the Indian Ocean, about 1,000 miles south of the southern India coast. It has been a military base since the mid 1900`s. The UNSC base on the island launched the first counterattacks against the Covenant when they invaded New Mombasa in Kenya, Africa. Among the units to respond was the 405th Marine Infantry Division.
