The Blockade of Gao was a year-long blockade of the planet Gao during the Insurrection.
Battle
Not much is known about the blockade other than the fact that it was a year-long ordeal during the Insurrection where the UNSC blockaded the Insurrectionist-friendly planet Gao.[1]
Aftermath
The ordeal would form many of Veta Lopis' childhood attitudes towards the UNSC.[1]
In 2559, while meeting Captain James Cutter of the UNSC Spirit of Fire for the first time, Lopis noted that the veteran officer might've been involved in the blockade of Gao. As they were now on the same side and Cutter had saved her team, Lopis put aside his possible role in the blockade.[1]
