- Commander Dmitri Zheng rams his frigate into a Covenant destroyer. He avoids court-martial because the disabled destroyer is subsequently destroyed by MAC fire. Whilst he is away, his home world is glassed.[5]
- The Type-27 Exoatmospheric Multi-role Fighter is first encountered by UNSC personnel.[6]
- Pinar Çelik disappears from all records around this year.[7]
