Shreddin'

Revision as of 07:56, August 9, 2019 by RevOcelotMGS (talk | contribs) (When datamining the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary files, one can find the original Shreddin' piece (which appears to be an earlier version) in a folder called 'rr1'. The music track for Rock Anthem is stored in a folder called 'rr2'.)

Template:Infobox song Shreddin'[1] is a song that is not featured in any of the Halo Original Soundtracks. However, it is possible to hear the track on the level, 343 Guilty Spark, when the Master Chief is playing the recording chip from Pvt. Wallace A. Jenkins' helmet. It plays as Sgt. Johnson and his squad are in the Pelican, waiting to get to the LZ. It is only featured in-game. While it is not present on the retail soundtrack, it was later released as a free download on Bungie.net.

The length of the song is 0:32.

Trivia

Shreddin' appears to have a similar tune and beat to hard rock band AC/DC's song "Back in Black".

Shreddin' may have originally intended to be 'Rock Anthem for Saving the World' before it was replaced with the final piece, judging from datamined info from Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.
