Angoulême

Angoulême was a city on the human colony of Meridian. Chalybs Defense Solutions had at least one facility in the city. The standard-issue pilot helmet for the UNSC Air Force, developed by CDS, was designed and built from the ground up in Angoulême.[1] Sometime around the Battle of Meridian, Chalybs Defense Solutions abaondoned their facilities on Meridian, and the city was likely glassed by the Covenant alongside most of the planet's surface.[2]
Trivia
It was likely named after the French commune of the same name.
