Update

This is a proposal to implement some amendments that I think would improve the policy (click me). Some of the terms are intentionally left ambiguous, allowing some flexibility and promotes user discussion. Oh, ignore the big red button, the experimental Forerunner image and the hate-me guy. :P — subtank 07:15, 26 September 2013 (EDT)

Adding in a section on "Quotability"?

*poke*

Would anyone find it fitting to incorporate Wikiquotes's Quotability standard into this policy page? It is quite helpful in dealing with unnecessary quotes currently listed and also for future additions. Of course, some of them would not be relevant or necessary to the wiki's operation, such as "Recentism vs. the Test of Time" and "Verifiability". — subtank 11:24, 3 October 2013 (EDT)

That seems like it could be useful. Go for it.--Spartacus TalkContribs 11:44, 3 October 2013 (EDT)
Bumping so that there can be a proper consensus on this. — subtank 09:26, 11 January 2014 (EST)

  • Support.svg Support - Right now our quote pages get crowded with superfluous lines (often from gameplay) which don't really meet any sort of quotability standard. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 00:17, 13 January 2014 (EST)
