Rename Proposal
I spent 15 minutes on that name, -Ascension-. You think of something short, then. My other name was "Flood water tank form".-- Forerunner 11:03, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
- "Unidentified Flood Form"? --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 11:05, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
- What Jugus proposed or simply "Sea Monkey" form (with the quotation marks).- Sketchist 11:06, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
- Ok. Though, I was avoiding "Sea Monkey" as it was an obvious joke referring to their water-borne nature.-- Forerunner 11:08, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
- Better call it the "Sea Monkey" form. Who knows, maybe Reach unveils some new Flood forms. ;) - Sketchist 11:14, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
- With the speech marks to suggest that it's not the real name?-- Forerunner 11:20, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
- We could, of course, call it the "Flood Tadpole", which is also a name mentioned in the B.net article and seems to reflect the form's stage of development. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 11:57, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
- "Flood Tadpole"? Seriously? I think "Unidentified Flood Water Form" would do. --SPARTAN-125 Cally99117
- "Tadpole" does sound ridiculous but it's better than "sea monkey". Calling it a "Water form" is assuming too much since we don't even know if the liquid is water. TBH, it seems that they're just still developing infection forms, hence "tadpole". --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 23:49, July 11, 2010 (UTC)
- I also thought that they were still developing infection forms and/or carrier forms. If it should be a type of infection form then I think it should be merged into the article itself, but because we have no evidence that it is an infection form, it should stay as a seperate article. --SPARTAN-125 Cally99117

Deleted
Since 2008... someone has been removing this form from existence. I swear we even had an article on it, but it vanished. Only two pages have mention of this form: Flood incorrectly calls it a 'dormant' stage, while The Oracle (Level) calls it a blob of flesh. Until Bungie mentioned it, there was no direct confirmation that it was flood. Another factor was that someone kept trying to have it merged with the Flood Dispersion Pod, claiming that the pods are just large Water forms.-- Forerunner 11:08, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
- I always thought they were just Infection Forms that weren't fully grown. No way to know for sure though, but the mention of "little flood tadpoles" in the B.net writeup seems to hint at it. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 11:57, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
These share similarities with the floating Flood in Halo Origins. - Echoes are all you hear... 00:08, June 25, 2010 (UTC)
