Haruspis

Haruspis (plural Haruspices^[1])^{[note 1]} was an elevated Forerunner entrusted with studying and guarding the Domain, overseeing important Forerunner rituals, as well being closely involved with the Juridicals. As with many other details, the physical nature and appearance of Haruspis remains nebulous.^[2] Haruspis had "associates", servants who assisted other Forerunners in functions involved with the Domain, such as the preparation for a Cryptum hibernation process.^[3]

^ Given the existence of a plural form, Haruspis appears to have been a title given to many individuals as opposed to being a single entity, similar to Catalog.
