Growth-Through-Trial-Of-Change or simply Trial is a female Forerunner Lifeworker that did not only survive the Forerunner-Flood War and activation of the Halos, but also oversaw the catalogueing of Humans on the Lesser Ark and later the Reintroduction of Humanity on Erde-Tyrene. She directly oversaw Riser. So far she has only been viewed in Halo Rebirth.[1]

Early Life

Trial was born in a Builder family. However, she expressed she wanted to become a Lifeworker. Her family was egainst this and effectively rejected her. This caused her to be raised by a foster family. She conciders the Lifeworkers she works with her new family.

Her family died long before the Forerunner-Flood War of an unknown cause.[2]

Post Forerunner-Flood War

She was in charge of the calogueing of Humans on the Lesser Ark. Later, she also helped Humanity return to Erde-Tyrene. Following that, it is implied she, the IsoDidact, Chant-To-Green and the other surviving Forerunners saught a new homeworld in a different galaxy.[3]
