Reminder

Just so we are clear on things, we do not all any user to delete content off their talk page at anytime unless it contains content of a malicious nature. Content may be archived (which I can explain how), but not deleted entirely. Regards.--Spartacus TalkContribs 17:32, 18 April 2013 (EDT)

Why was this replaced? It is on the user discussion page of MY account if I don't want I'll remove it. Don't tell me I cannot unless you can show me some rule that states I cannot make changes to my own page. TLLorax (talk) 17:36, 18 April 2013 (EDT)

Cite the rule please. Then archive. Since I cannot do what I want with my account. TLLorax (talk) 17:38, 18 April 2013 (EDT)

It is an unwritten rule that is enforced here and you will follow it. This talk page does not belong to you, it belongs to Halopedia and is of community record.--Spartacus TalkContribs 17:44, 18 April 2013 (EDT)

An 'unwritten' rule? Means it is a rule you and the other admins decided to make and enforce so you can feel a twinge of glee when you enforce it? If there is no written rule in that rule thing I signed saying I would follow all the rules that states I also have to follow unwritten rules that probably come and go at the whim of the admins. Also it is info on my page letting me know mistakes I've made and how to not make them again, who is going to miss that? TLLorax (talk) 18:34, 18 April 2013 (EDT)

You are being absolutely ridiculous about this, making a mountain out of a molehill about this. We (and not just me) do not enforce it to "feel a twinge of glee". It's a rule that's been enforced more or less since Halopedia was founded. It doesn't matter if someone else is going to see it or not. Now lose the argument, respect the advice of those who want to help you, and follow the reminder I gave you, or there will be consequences, understand?--Spartacus TalkContribs 18:47, 18 April 2013 (EDT)

YES, SIR!. How dare I voice my opinion. How dare I have an opinion different then yours to voice. How dare I look up from the ground and dare look you in the face. You are ALPHA and I see that now. Joking all aside I already agree to archive it if I'm unable to delete it. So you going to tell me how to archive it or do it yourself or keep telling me that rules that are not in the rulebook need to be obeyed. Also going to ban me because I dared to do everything that I mentioned early? To let the rest of the peons know you are alpha. Lest they rise up against you. TLLorax (talk) 19:55, 18 April 2013 (EDT)

Perhaps if you lose the attitude, I might.--Spartacus TalkContribs 20:01, 18 April 2013 (EDT)
Go to any other wiki and you will find that they also enforce a "do not delete message posts" rule as an unwritten rule. -- SFH (talk) 20:05, 18 April 2013 (EDT)

I'll have any attitude I wish. Now archive it all three post on this page. Is using : another unwritten rule I should be following? Again SFH I will state that not allowing the deletion of post on pages like this that plays no part in the actual info for the Haloverse. TLLorax (talk) 20:15, 18 April 2013 (EDT)

You will maintain a professional attitude while editing here. I will say this again, your talk page is of community record and content placed on it stays permanently. I am not going to archive it or tell you how to archive it until you lose your poor attitude and show some damn respect. This goes as my final warning.--Spartacus TalkContribs 10:41, 19 April 2013 (EDT)

May I bring to the table the fact that most of what is in the DELETION LOG is deletions you did. So how does that work? You can delete pages? So only pages you want deleted gets deleted? May I point out this is a professional attitude, unless by professional attitude you mean I cower to everything you say. Now since nothing is suppose to be deleted shouldn't undo all those deletions and then archive them? They are of community record. Once again I will mention that I agreed to have this page archived when you told me I couldn't delete it so after that point the fact we kept talking is because you kept feeling the need to talk. Why even have a deletion log if you are not allowed to delete anything? TLLorax (talk) 12:45, 19 April 2013 (EDT)

No no no. YOU continued to argue and show exceptional rudeness about what I told you. Also, those pages were tagged for deletion and it is within my rights to delete them. Once again you are being ridiculous about this. A little advice, when an admin tells you to do something, you listen, you do not ignore it and continually argue against it. You made a simple little reminder I gave you into a huge issue where there was none. Due to your continued rudeness and refusal to lose your poor attitude and listen, you will now face consequences of your actions. Good day.--Spartacus TalkContribs 12:55, 19 April 2013 (EDT)

At any point you could have archived these post and that would have been the end of it. But you wanted to make a point of you being a big bad boss man that's in charge. Now since you can actually delete these how about you do that or just archive it. Also I called it a few post back that you would ban me to try and make your point. Saying that I ignored your warning about deleting the post implies that I continued to try and delete them, which I didn't. I checked one of those pages you had deleted and it was a few strings of sentences from you rambling about something. (The name of the person that had posted was close to yours if you won't the poster.) TLLorax (talk) 13:37, 22 April 2013 (EDT)

I apologise for interjecting this discussion but TLLorax is right. One could've simply just do it for the person deleting the post after asking why the person is deleting the post. Kinda unnecessary. :/
@TLLorax: whenever you feel like deleting old posts, just move it into the Archived page in the above-right "Table of Content". — subtank 13:59, 22 April 2013 (EDT)
