Babd Catha Ice Shelf

The Babd Catha Ice Shelf was an ice shelf located on the human colony of Reach at Eposz.[1] An Office of Naval Intelligence facility known as "Sword Base" was located near Babd Catha and was the site of a battle between the United Nations Space Command and the Covenant Empire during the Fall of Reach on July 26, 2552.
Most of the ice shelf melted when the Covenant glassed the planet.[2]
Trivia
In Irish mythology, Babd Catha was a war goddess who took the form of a crow.
