Halopedia talk:Featured/Article/Nomination

An excellent article, excellently written with solid sourcing and notes per the new sourcing guidelines. Evolutions has provided a lot of new information for him and I think the article warrants some time as a featured article. - S.B.44 [Talk] 01:12, February 28, 2010 (UTC)

- Support - Hell yeah! The article is very well witten, and we have not had a new fetured article in almost 2 years I think. --"We are not backing down now. Besides, I dont like losing, remember?" User: Yugiohtipman34 01:19, February 28, 2010 (UTC)

- Neutral Being a picky bastard right now; sources should be well cited; that includes page numbers and what chapters they were mentioned/appeared in and formatted properly. Some of the content looks legit but potentially well made-up. Citations would clear things up. And yes, I'm just voicing my opinion on how to further improve the article and am not going to do it right now.外国人(7alk) 01:38, February 28, 2010 (UTC)

Catherine Elizabeth Halsey (Won)
Dr. Halsey is an integral part of the Halo canon. From her development of the MJOLNIR armor system, to the augmentations performed on the Spartan-II's , and even the creation of Cortana, Halsey has indirectly saved humanity many times. She has not been directly mentioned in any of the games but it is clear that she is one of the most important characters in halo universe and warrants featured article status. In addition to this it is a well written article, and fits all of CommanderTony's new criteria for featured articles. - S.B.44 [T] 03:47, March 17, 2010 (UTC)

- Support It's a well written, and sourced, article. There's a few places, currently, where inline citations are scarce (working on that), but those are far and few between. If FA's are to be a regular event this would be a good one to move on to. -- Lord Hyren 04:29, March 25, 2010 (UTC)

New Mombasa (Won)
New Mombasa has had a flood of new information upon the release of ODST, and it has been maintained to a high standard since then. It is well written, laid out accordingly, fully sourced, has a fine amount of images in the main article, and a sizable gallery. Being such an integral part of the series, being a main setting in Halo 2 and Halo 3: ODST, its article does it justice. It fits all of CT's new Featured Article criteria. - File:Black Mesa.jpg Halo-343 (Talk) (Contribs) (Edits) 20:17, April 14, 2010 (UTC)

Thel 'Vadam
In addition to being a well written-well sourced article, the Arbiter is the second most important character in the Halo series. He heavily influences the entire Halo Universe and stands out as an example of what a Sangheili should be. - User:ShadowBroker44/sig 00:34, September 8, 2010 (UTC)

- Support - Well written, well cited, well organized, good images, good quotes, no 2nd person handwriting... This article is a great example for writing a character article! S331 (Talk • Contributions) 07:44, 19 April 2011 (EDT)
- Support - Per nomination. This is an extremely important figure in the Halo universe and should be recognised. User:CurtisRustiGunn
# Support - Thel 'Vadam is to important of a charactor to leave out. He was a very large part of the original Halo trilogy, in Halo 2, Halo 3, and even behind the scenes in Halo 1. Of course Thel 'Vadam should be a featured article!!! 'If only it were so easy'. - File:Halo-wars-5-th.jpg CovenantSeparatist 18:29, 28 July 2011 (EDT)

- Neutral The article is well cited until material from Halo 2 is being covered, and the citations all but disappear in the sections following. It wouldn't take much work to add them, and if added I'll change my vote, but for now I must remain neutral. I won't say the article shouldn't be featured, but it just isn't there yet for me. -- Lord Hyren 04:43, September 8, 2010 (UTC)

SPARTAN-B312 (Won)
For an article about a character that technically has no gender, SPARTAN-B312 is both surprisingly well written and well constructed. Noble Six would be an excellent featured article in light of the recent release of Halo: Reach. The article is sourced well, and exceeds the minimum size of a featured article. - File:Black Mesa.jpg Halo-343 (Talk) 16:41, 5 November 2010 (EDT)

- Neutral - While it is a well written, well sourced article, it just doesn't seem to be long enough to be designated a featured article, and indeed does not exceed the minimum size of 15,000 bytes. - File:Black Mesa.jpg Halo-343 (Talk) 11:59, 1 April 2011 (EDT)
- Neutral — In addition to what H343 stated above, there's definitely enough content in Halo: Reach to expand his biography. User:CommanderTony/Sig
- Neutral - Its not far from a featured article, but still needs some improvements to reach that standards. As said above, "Biography" is good but it can be expanded a lot. The equipment section should be renamed to "Appearance" that will include his weaponry and armor as well. Some information in trivia could be added to an "Age" section, or to his "Childhood" section. "Traits and Personality" can include a "Relationships" section, where Carter's relationships with the rest of the team will be analyzed further. ShadowDancer |contribs| 04:05, 15 June 2011 (EDT)

Forerunner
A highly informative, well-written and well-sourced article about one of Halo's primary subjects, a fact helped in no small part by the release of Halo: Cryptum, giving for the first time solid information as to who the hell these guys were.
