Baffler

A baffler was a Forerunner-designed camouflage technique employing geometric distortions. In approximately 100,000 BCE, a baffler was used to hide the center of Djamonkin Crater.^[1] Despite being considered outdated at the time,^[2] the device was demonstrated to be effective enough to hide the area from a Miner ship and an entire Forerunner fleet.^[3]^[4]
