Design details
The Revenant is an infantry support vehicle armed with a plasma-based weapon that functions similar to the plasma mortar mounted on Covenant Wraiths, but on a smaller scale. It is rather agile, but it is unknown whether the Revenant has a boosting feature.
It can carry at least two individuals, including the pilot and a passenger in a side-mounted seat. The front of the vehicle provides the pilot limited protection from small arms fire, similiarly to the Spectre in Halo 2.
This vehicle likely had some inspiration from a Covenant vehicle in the pre-Xbox version of Halo: Combat Evolved that was later revised into the Spectre in Halo 2. This is evident in both the dimensions and the color scheme of the vehicle.[2]
