It is mentioned in one of the books that famales have a low role in elite siocity, so this character skullfucks cannon. Hawkeye16 18:44, April 30, 2010 (UTC)

I want a book name and page number for that.--The All-knowing Sith'ari 19:32, April 30, 2010 (UTC)
I think it was in Cole Protocol, I swear I will find it. Or more likely I'll completely forget and then find it a few months from now while re-reading the books out of boredom. —This unsigned comment was made by Hawkeye16 (talkcontribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~
I totally don't remember that, and for me, that's something. I could've skipped the page, I suppose... But I thought I heard that the females had the same potential as the males, but they often took more menial jobs. Besides, game canon is generally considered superior to book canon, and this wouldn't be the first time Halo Wars screwed up the story.--Fluffball Gato 23:18, April 30, 2010 (UTC)
Note that Sanj'ik was mentioned in the Halo Wars website (promotional material) and not in the actual game itself, thus placing it below book canon. ;) - 5əb'7aŋk(Σάπτανκ) 23:37, April 30, 2010 (UTC)

Indirect Mention?

While "arguing" on page 74 of Thursday War, Raia 'Mdama says to Forze "Females have served in ships and even been weapons masters", to which he replies "Very, very rarely". Does this count as an indirect mention? As it is obviously been looked into by Traviss, or is it too vague? --TentacleTornado 14:45, 8 October 2012 (EDT)
