Nomination
I, Sgt.johnson, nominate Spartan781 for adminship on Halopedia. He has been a user longer than I can remember, and has the required edits. He is extremely active on Halopedia, modest, and fun to be around. That is why I nominate him. -- Sgt.johnsonFile:General-gr1.gif 21:51, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
Sorry to turn down you guys, but I don't have the stuff to become an admin. Seriously. I agree with RR. He has explained it for you. Also, I can't even lead user groups, and make frequent mistakes, like what GPT said. Sorry, but, nomination denied. :(--Spartan-781 CommCSV 10:08, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
- Spartan781, I didn't mean to insult you in my comment, but I thought it was appropriate to mention my full-fledged opinion of you. However, I am very impressed that you have the courage to defer an RfA -- while it takes skill to become nominated, it takes courage to defer one. Things will go much easier when you're more matured as a Halopedian, and it's good that you can quantitatively evaluate yourself and see whether or not you want to accept a contribution. I look forward to working with you side-by-side to ensure a successive RfA will be more successful. You may contact me @ my talk page for this. Approval (2/2)
Support He sometimes does things wrong (mainly moving pages with improper capitalization, rofl), but I think he'd be a good candidate... and at least this way he can clean up after himself. ^_^ Guesty-Persony-Thingy 22:18, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
Support ok perhaps i was wrong he deserv that sorry of doubt of you lol CF001 00:26, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
Support Regardless if he has met the requirements, there is no other current Halopedian (besides Blemo and Simon_rjh) that i'd give a nod to for an RfA. He deserves this for his work! File:CT's Battle Flag - Distressed.JPG Anthony I of the United StatesTalk 2/04/2008

- Neutral Swapped vote after I was conviced that my argument was hypocritical. I may change to For or Against after I hear other's arguments for and against, as I normally do. Çya, Møuse 00:54, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

Oppose Lots of users have over 2,000 edits total and 1,000 mainspace edits, have had rollback for at least one month, and have all of the other requirements needed for an RfA. Why shouldn't we nominate you, Specops306, and even myself for adminship? Çya, Møuse 23:55, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
Oppose More than one user has 1,000 edits.I can name at least 4 other users how have this many.So I dont think he deserves to be an Admin yet.Sorry Spartan-781.{{SUBST:User:Rockr999/Sig}} 00:54, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
- Just so that we understand each other, we are not comparing Spartan781's edits with anyone else's edits. Don't vote against a person just because he was fewer edits than someone else, unless that was your original intention. kthnxbai. --File:H3 Sergeant.gif Blemo File:Progress Wheel.gif TALK • CONTRIBUTIONS • EMAIL • MESSAGE 04:27, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
Oppose Spartan781 does have the required amount of edits, but many of these are basically bot edits, for example his replacement of the 3 Lieutenant General stars image i used in one of my older sigs in a few hundred pages, IIRC. he did not seek my opinion before doing this and altered the appearance of my personal signature that i had used on, as already said, hundreds of pages. this makes me question how he would behave as an admin and whether he would go to the community for a more informed opinion before doing something(such as making a serious alteration to Halopedia policy or inappropriately blocking a user). as both one of the largest Wikia wikia and a very popular Halo-related website, I would want any administrator to have some experience with the tools, or if not, then at least to ask the community and his fellow administrators if possible to get a more informed opinion or to learn what to do. Oppose Spartan781 is an editor of the most exceptional quality. However, his conduct with other users at time is unbecoming, and thus I am opposed to an administratorship. Regards, RelentlessRecusant 'o the Halopedia Team TALK • MESSAGE 04:05, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
Oppose Wha? Has being a Halopedian who gets thousands edits and rollback right qualify of being an admin? And yes, I agree with RR. MasterChiefPettyOfficerSpartan Contribution 11:15, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
- No, but a Halopedian who has made those thousand edits count for something, contributing to Halopedia greatly surely does. File:CT's Battle Flag - Distressed.JPG Anthony I of the United StatesTalk 2/05/2008
