The Covenant Generator is actually what the two large purple objects located on the multiplayer map Burial Mounds are. There is also one located on the multiplayer map Relic. Players of Halo 2 have also amusingly given the generators on Burial Mounds the nickname The Nipples, due to the fact that they are each placed on a mound of dirt making it look like a pair of breasts. These are medium purple devices that are commonly placed throughout Halo 2 levels. There are two parts to the device. The generator itself is an oval like purple box. The second part, which recieves the power and connects it to something else, is a multi-part machine. The purpose of the generator is of course to generate power. They are often found near Covenant encampments.
