Orpheus is a Halo 3 Meta-Game Achievement. It is earned when the player earns 15,000 points while playing the meta-game on Cortana. This Achievement gives 10 Gamerpoints to the player.The name Orpheus was ancient Greek, in Greece Orpheus went into the underworld to find his wife and bring her back.In Halo 3,level Cortana, the Master Chief goes into High Charity [ symbolizing the underworld, after it was infested by the Flood] to find Cortana [ symbolizing Orpheus's wife].
