images?

I dont know if this is the place to ask this but, if I have a picture from bungie: a. am i able to use it on this website and b. whats the best way to get it to appear on a page I am creating?? --thepretenders22

You can post any image as long as it's not obscene, and if it's appropriate to the article. Images cannot currently be hosted on the site, they must be uploaded on a site like http://imageshack.us/ or http://photobucket.com/ If the image is smallish, it can be posted on its own, just by placing the URL on the page. If the image is large, a smaller image (a thumbnail) should also be uploaded and then you use this code:
[(address of large image) (address of smaller image)]
This make sense? --Dragonclaws 15:26, 17 May 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time)

Heya. Go check out the new forum, there'll be a new section opened up for you. Thanks. - AgentSeethroo

Congrats

Heya, DC. You've been an asset to the Halopedia from day 1 (or so), and you've continued to do a great job with your Sysop duties, so I've made you a full Halopedia admin/beaurocrat/whatever. Keep up the good work! - AgentSeethroo

Thanks, it's appreciated. --Dragonclaws 14:37, 15 Sep 2005 (EDT)

Hey man, I saw your page and noticed that your page is very similar to this. --ZERVON 17:49, 23 Oct 2005 (EDT)

Great minds think alike. That one seems more focused on multiplayer than ours, though. --Dragonclaws 20:04, 23 Oct 2005 (EDT)

Monkt Problem

DragonClaws me and Monkt have been working for 3 weeks doing nothing but correcting the blatantly false information you put in this wiki. My friend overreacted but hes very personal towards his race, for this I am sorry, but please dont tell him he needs to quit doing something when we spend all our time doing nothing but correcting this site. I have a job and a family, and I'm dedicated to my religion enough to take out my time to fix this because me and Monkt do not want possible followers of haloism to be brought under false information. I will continue do evaluate Human informaiton until it is correct becasue it is my specialty when it comes to Halo and Halo history s also my area of expertise, and Monkt is the foremost knowledgable Brute on the Covenant Heirarhcy and it's history. Please don't force him to leave after all weve been doing for this site.

"Blatantly false"? You guys haven't really corrected any information. Besides the expansion of the Grace article, you've just fleshed out, reworded and removed excess words. And most of that was you as opposed to Monkt. While I am appreciative of these contributions, I find it worrying that nearly all of Monkt's actions were done on basis that he was a member of the "Jiralhanae race". The facts are, I told him repeatedly not to censor the article, and then he'd remove it again with a disrespectful response. I directly warned him to stop or be banned, and yet he continued. If you really want to help, please stop the role-play - it's not funny. --Dragonclaws 19:30, 2 Nov 2005 (EST)

Roleplaying? Excuse me Sir, but there is no roleplaying going on. We follow Haloism and thoroughly believe that with our Faithfullness to the Gods and Almighty's we will transgress to Installation 04 to live out eternity in blissful peace. Now, in my religion I am a SPARTAN-II, and in my reality I am. I have all the same skills a SPARTAN-II does my religion offers "Training" to learn so I can fulfill my religious aspects properly. The same is with Monkt, he was brought in as a Jiralhanae and was trained to act as such, therefore please do not say we are roleplaying you are simply insulting our religion. Also, Monkt does as much work for this site as I do whenever I must correct soemthing I cannot do alone we collectively put our knowledge together and work until we find the answer. Thank you for responding, but I digress, you gave Monkt a warning and banned him when he did nothing after your warning, at least thats the way it is according to the logs. If you dont minmd I'd very much appreciate it if you would unban my friend. Thank you for taking the time to read my little rant. --Senoir Petty Officer SPARTAN-067 109th Platoon, Infiltration Division.

According to the history of Monkt's Discussion page, I posted my warning on 00:20, 2 Nov 2005. According to Monkt's User Contributions page, he removed the Jiralhanae info on 09:46, 2 Nov 2005. If you are indeed a follower of Haloism, I apologize for calling it roleplaying. The fact remains that Halopedia represents Bungie canon; Haloism's take on things has no place here. --Dragonclaws 18:03, 3 Nov 2005 (EST)

So, DragonClaws, if I am to understand you correctly you are saying my religion and beliefs are not Bungie canon, and furthermore that my religion takes on things that arent in the encyclopedia of Halo knowledge? Surely you jest, or are misdirecting your words and intentions. Allow me to set you straight the Whole of my religious knowledge is based on the foreground of the Knowledge, however inaccurate in places, located in this Encyclopedia. Now, this all began as an intention of requesting you to unban my religious brother, yet it turned into an insult to all that I, as a follower, believe. If you had simply came to me, though how you could have known to Ill never know, this could have been resolved fairly simply and most assuredly without the feelings that have been shredded here these few days. Now, sir, I do not mean to be rude and so warrily blunt, but, Monkt knows more of the Sacred Texts then you shall ever dream of possesing, furthermore and strictly to my point, at the request of a Brethren not in religion, but as a gamer, unban Monkt.
