Overview

Little is known about this UNSC vehicle at present. Described as a Jawa Sandcrawler, it is the UNSC's equivalent to the Covenant's Scarab or the Shadow. Rumors say that the Elephant will be the size of a 3 story building (24 - 42 feet in height) and will have a multitude of different weapons on it such as AIE-486H Heavy Machine Guns, Missile Pods, and some sort of super weapon (probably similar to the Scarab's main gun). Twelve soldiers can ride in it, it can house a Mongoose under its belly, its drivable, has a turret (possibly a AIE-486H Heavy Machine Gun), can respawn troops, and holds both the flag and the capture point. Only available in Sandtrap as of now, and is the only thing specifically mentioned not to be included in Forge. The Elephant is most likely to appear in a special game type where they two teams (offensive and defensive) the offensive team's goal is to destroy the Elephant with a number of vehicles and defensive team has to use the Elephant and prevent the offensive team from destroying it in the alotted time. It is expected to make it's debut in Halo 3. We await further, more conclusive evidence before expanding upon this article.
