Under which title? and which article should be erased? They're both different. -ED 21:45, 13 February 2007 (UTC)to

I think it needs going through and adding anything usefull to this page, if some one has the time--Climax Viod 21:20, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

Canon?

Bungie has frequently stated the "Heroic" difficulty is the "true Halo universe". Therefore, wouldn't the things in this level that only occur in "Normal" and "Easy" difficulties be uncanonicalized? I would like to hear your opinions. --Fluffball Gato 16:00, January 12, 2010 (UTC)

I'm not sure they meant it like that, otherwise the specs for Heroic would have instead been the specs for Normal. Perhaps they meant realistic in the eyes of a Marine?. -- Forerunner 16:06, January 12, 2010 (UTC)
Well, no. They've said the "Normal" difficulty is just a slightly harder "Easy" for people who suck at Halo, but don't want to admit it. What I said is true, Bungie says that "Heroic" is the true Halo universe... I believe that we should change the specs to revolve around "Heroic" too, but somebody chose to use "Normal" long ago. Without coming out to harsh, I hope: The fact that "Heroic" is the true Halo universe is not really under debate as Bungie has said it is under multiple occasions. What I was wondering was if everything in "Normal" and below is no longer canon. Sorry if I sounded mean.--Fluffball Gato 16:14, January 12, 2010 (UTC)
The story is still the same, the difficulty is just higher. All of them are canon. SmokeSound off! 16:32, January 12, 2010 (UTC)
Well, to a point. I picked the talk page on this level because it has major differences from "Normal" to "Heroic" difficulties. Also, throughout the games, lines are different. I was wondering if the lines on "Heroic" were the only ones considered canon.--Fluffball Gato 16:55, January 12, 2010 (UTC)
I'm guessing it's still the same, because those are still just minor differences. In the end, they still crash-landed on Halo, and the story still went the same way. The details in the levels (with the exception of some cutscenes) are minute. SmokeSound off! 16:58, January 12, 2010 (UTC)

reference?

When sergeant johnson gets the marines in a line that makes me think of that scene in aliens where Apone is like "ARE YOU LEAN!? YES! ARE YOU MEAN!? YES! WHAT ARE YOU!? LEAN MEAN MARINES! GET ON THE READY LINE! ect ect." could that be a reference to it?SPARTAN-III leader 01:27, June 1, 2010 (UTC)

Yup. That has been documented in List of References to Aliens in Halo.- Sketchist 01:29, June 1, 2010 (UTC)
