Qunu

Qunu was a Covenant Elite and Ship Master of the destroyer Far Sight Lost. His knowledge of the ritual responses from the Fire and Repentance Codecies was unmatched.

In 2552, his ship, which was part of the Combined Fleet of Righteous Purpose, was sent with the Incorruptible to Onyx. Qunu was ordered ahead of the main fleet to try and make contact with the Onyx Sentinels. The Sentinels, in turn, destroyed his ship and killed him.

Name

Qunu's naming structure is unusual. It is unknown whether "Qunu" is his first or second name.

One the one hand, it could be assumed that it is his first name, as he doesn't have the (') or the (-ee), and he can't be a civilian as he is a Zealot, and commander of a destroyer. On the other hand, Elites never allow run-on vowels (that is, it is unlikely that an -ee would go after another vowel sound). Still, there are no known Elites with pure surnames finishing in vowels.
