M19-B surface-to-air missile launcher
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
The M19-B Surface-to-Air Missile Launcher, commonly shortened to M19-B SAM Missile Launcher, is a heavy ordnance weapon used by the UNSC. It fires high-powered surface-to-air missiles and was deployed in limited numbers for UNSC ground forces in the 2540's and early 2550's. However, they were not widely used, as their counterpart model, the M19 SSM Rocket Launcher, was much more versatile and portable on the field.
This weapon was used by SPARTAN-III companies Alpha and Beta. It is for the most part ineffective on a Covenant Seraph-class starfighter but effective against a Banshee.[1]
Trivia

- The M19-B, was made for the Rocket Launchers lack of guided missiles and explosive projectiles.
- It is available for use, in the first part of the Halo: Custom Edition "Custom Map Team" version of the map Halo (Halo: Combat Evolved Level).
- The M19-B was originaly going to be in Halo:CE, but was dropped like many other weapons, and was permanently dropped unlike some of the other cut weapons that came back in Halo 2, or Halo 3. This launcher is available in Campaign and in Multiplayer, but only in Campaign does it have the stand.
