Pressure seal

Pressure Seals are one of the major components of the MJOLNIR Power Armor System developed by the UNSC and used by the Spartans. They are probably located throughout the armor system and used in joints and where armor pieces come together. They serve to keep the Hydrostatic Gel from leaking, thus providing the armor with the second spacesuit suit alternative; constant pressure at every inch of the wearer's body, instead of a clumsy atmosphere located in the spacesuits of the 20th and 21st century, keeping it airtight underwater or in space. They break when put under extreme pressure, such as in a high velocity impact or when the Hydrostatic Gel has been over pressurized.
