January

  • January 2: Halo: Epitaph was set to release on this date following a delay from an original release date of 2023, before being pushed back to February 27.[1]
  • January 5: A partnership between 343 Industries and Mantic Games to bring a new tabletop game based on the Halo universe is announced.[2]
  • January 30: Content Update 29, the next content drop for Halo Infinite was launched, marking the end of the "Season" nomenclature for the game.

  • March 5: Halo: Meridian Divide was set to be re-released by Simon & Schuster on this date, before being pushed back to April 30.[1]
  • March 7: "Onyx", the sixth episode of the second season of the Halo television series, aired.
  • March 14: "Thermopylae", the seventh episode of the second season of the Halo television series, aired.
  • March 21: "Halo", the eighth and last episode of the second season of the Halo television series, aired.
  • March 26: Halo: Battle Born is re-released on this date, alongside two new short stories.[4]

  • July 18: Its announced that the third season of Halo: The Television Series is cancelled and won't be streamed by Paramount+.[6]
  • July 22: Halo: Anvil Accord, the tenth short in the Halo Waypoint Chronicle series, is released.

    • Halo: Empty Throne was set to be released by Simon & Schuster on this date, before being pushed back to October 8.

  • October 6: At HCS Seattle 2024, it announced that all future Halo games will be made with Unreal Engine 5, dropping the Slipspace Engine, and that 343 Industries will be rebranded as Halo Studios.

  • October 29: The Making of Halo The Series: Hope, Heroism, Humanity is set to be released in book shops on this date.[8]
