Tenderloin District

The Tenderloin District is an area in Valles Marineris on Mars.[1]
History
Refugee riots
Sometime between 2552 and 2558, Valles Marineris was the site of a series of refugee riots. During one of these, rioters created a barricade of furniture just outside of an office building in the Tenderloin District, throwing bottles at soldiers and Diplomatic Corps envoy Melody Azikiwe and her staff.[1]

This location may be a reference to or named after The Tenderloin, a neighborhood in the city of San Francisco, California.
