Magsanggalang is the name of a Mgalekgolo colony. "Angg" is the bond name shared between Magsanggalang and its bond brother, or mate, Magtanggol. Magsanggalang is known as a “Swarmlord", giving it the title Swarmlord Magsanggalang, which is how it appears in Warzone simulations when being put up against Spartan-IVs. It is equipped with Ultra-class armor and an assault cannon.[1]
Trivia
Magsanggalang is named after a Tagalog word, like other Mgalekgolo in Halo 5: Guardians. Magsanggalang is Tagalog for "to guard for protection".[2]
