UNSC Pillar of Autumn II is an Autumn-class heavy cruiser in service with the UNSC Navy and the lead ship of her class, commissioned into service as a replacement for the Marathon class after the end of the Human-Covenant War. She was named after the UNSC Pillar of Autumn, a Halcyon-class light cruiser which played a pivotal role in the events leading up to the conclusion of the war. Like her predecessor, the Pillar of Autumn II is colloquially known as the "Autumn", thereby serving as her class' namesake.
