Can someone add this to the Navigation side bar? Thanks. --Weeping Angel (talk) 14:54, 29 April 2014 (EDT)
- I would suggest "no" for now. Once we have the actual title of the media, then I think it should be added to the sidebar.— subtank 19:00, 29 April 2014 (EDT)
- We've added other as of then unnamed titles to the sidebar in the past (Glasslands before it was called Glasslands), so I don't see why not in this case. Besides, we'll likely get a name for this with E3 coming up here pretty soon. I'll hold off on adding it for now though.--Spartacus Talk • Contribs 11:30, 30 April 2014 (EDT)
Production
Would it be appropriate to create a "production" section of this article, and add this video to it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWALQK-ImHk ?--Weeping Angel (talk) 10:56, 30 May 2014 (EDT)
- It is preferable if we could have a proper source over fan-recorded source. — subtank 12:38, 30 May 2014 (EDT)
- Okay. Just thought I'd check. --Weeping Angel (talk) 14:39, 30 May 2014 (EDT)
Console
This article states that it will be available for xbox 360 and other microsoft devices. I thought it would only be available for the xbox one as part of the Maser Chief collection. Where did I go wrong? --Weeping Angel (talk) 10:17, 11 June 2014 (EDT)
- Says here in the first paragraph: "Available only on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and other Microsoft devices..." So I guess unless stated otherwise by the developers, Nightfall will be available on other Microsoft devices for purchase.--Spartacus Talk • Contribs 13:01, 11 June 2014 (EDT)
Episodes
How are we including the episoded in this page? Two of the titles are already up on the Halo Channel if anyone's interested. Col. Snipes450 00:44, 11 November 2014 (EST)
- Having each episode as a subsection of the plot summary is a pretty good format. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 01:01, 11 November 2014 (EST)
- "Chapters". We should get used to it. Somehow. :/ Imrane-117 (talk) 01:04, 11 November 2014 (EST)
2556?
Despite an Xbox Wire article claiming the story is set between Halos 4 and 5 Waypoint's Universe entries give pretty strong hints that Nightfall actually occurs in 2556. First, Randall Aiken's entry states he'd advanced to the rank of colonel by 2556, which suggests this is regarded as the "present" of this particular entry. Macer, who is revealed to have been born in 2537, is said to be "currently" nineteen years old. It's possible the Xbox Wire article was simplifying things for general audiences, meaning that the webseries ties together the two stories by introducing Locke despite not strictly taking place between the games in the in-universe timeline. In any case mainstream online articles, official or not, have never been the most decisive source for canon. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 11:48, 11 November 2014 (EST)
- I don't know... During HaloFest Kiki Wolfkill and Mike Colter were talking about Halo: Nightfall, and Kiki was really insisting that it was set between Halo 4 and Halo 5... (when the interviewer explains that Halo has a huge universe and that he wants to know precisely where in the story Nightfall fits). For Randall, perhaps it just means he served for a long time and finally became colonel in 2556. But, yeah, that's confusing. EDIT: In my mind, so far Nightfall was actually set in 2558, due to the bioweapon stuff also happening in Escalation (although it's not confirmed that they are the same weapon). Imrane-117 (talk) 11:56, 11 November 2014 (EST)
- Maybe it's safest to wait until we get a proper confirmation, though it's still possible that Wolfkill and co. are just saying that to avoid confusing the mainstream press and casual fans. About the weapon, having seen the episode it's looking pretty unlikely for the two bioweapons to be related given their different origins and effects... which just raises the question of why they'd bother with the coincident timing of the Exposure arc and Nightfall, particularly since the bioweapon theme is something that's scarcely been explored in Halo before. Maybe some developments in future chapters/issues will connect the two though. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 12:06, 11 November 2014 (EST)
Day/Night Heat
In the first episode they say the Alpha Halo was 900 degrees during day and 130 degrees at night, but they don't say if it is Celsius or Fahrenheit. 130 Celsius at night is way to high for a human to take, yet there are those two miner guys and the horses just chilling on the ring, so then is it Fahrenheit? Yet it is well established that everyone has changed to metric at the time. Either way it is a blunder. KhevaKins (talk) 06:36, 3 December 2014 (EST)
- It's in American, just like how they keep using Yards for distance, though curiously they use kilometres too. It's definitely an attempt to fit into the to main American (TV) audience, as games in general have been using metric (metres and such) for a while now. Being deliberate, I'm not sure whether this constitutes an error or just a trivia entry. Alex T Snow (talk) 13:48, 3 December 2014 (EST)
Appearances
Should we separate the appearances between each individual Second Story and Nightfall, or keep them all on the same page? - NightHammer (talk) 15:35, 15 December 2014 (EST)
