From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
Spartacus resignation message
Well, I suppose it's time to make it known.
As time has gone on, my activity here has significantly diminished due to real life and career interests, as well as a general loss of interest in the franchise. Because of that, I no longer feel I am justified being an admin here. That is why I have decided to resign my adminship duties, effective on August 1, 2017. It has been a pleasure to be a part of this community for the last six and a half years. I wish the site nothing but the best.--Spartacus Talk • Contribs

Overview
If you arrived on this page. Let me first thank you for taking your time to read this.
On the 1st August 2017 it comes to our great sadness that Spartacus is leaving the Halopedia team. If Halopedia (and Destinypedia) has helped you out in any way over the last few years then an Admin probably has been involved with keeping the experience top notch and working well for you all, one such Admin who did outstanding on their job was Spartacus. Ever since he became an Admin on September 3rd, 2012, he made sure the wiki was a great place to be(alongside the other admins of course), he made the Halopedia Discord something that has had a very positive reception within the users who use it, has helped all the Admins in some form or another, among many other countless things over the last 6 years (over 13,700 edits as a whole does that you know heh).
Admin thank you
Now I would like to clarify there is no hard feelings between us or Spartacus, there was no fighting or arguing, I would like to think Spartacus was clear in that. ;) (Admin CIA391 Note: I would like to think we are still on great terms) As such a few Admins agreed, while Spartacus won't be an Admin anymore, he will become an Honorary Patroller. :) This is because Spartacus has been a great help to the wiki, and is one thing we can do to show our appreciation for the work he has done.
Speaking directly to Spartacus here. We hope you stay around in some form. The amount of work you have done here is outstanding, and it would be a shame to see you leave it all behind. Regardless of what you do though, you have the full backing of the Administration here at Halopedia. And on behalf of all the Admins, and Patrollers thank you. :)

I would like to say thank you myself for all the help you have given me over the past few years I been on Halopedia, all the way to me becoming an admin. I admit without your help I might not even be here right now, struggling to grasp a lot of things on the site. I also like to say whenever we talked its been an outright pleasure. I wish you the best, and thank you for all you done for me on here and elsewhere. Don't be a stranger now.-CIA391 (talk) 21:02, 27 July 2017 (EDT)
Thank you for showing me around on Destinypedia and helping me learn the ropes, Spartacus. It's been a great pleasure to work with you, and keeping me in line when I occasionally forget some regulation. (Also thank you for changing my name here on Halopedia; it's such a minor thing, but much appreciated, nonetheless. --Μονιτορ 007 Ι ωονδερ ιφ Ξορτανα γιϝες ηυγς το Μονιτερς. I don't post much here. I've edited a few pages, commented on a couple of articles. But I do read a lot. I've read countless debates and discussions on the forums. I've availed myself of unknown, countless numbers of articles. Over the years, I've seen your name pop up again and again, countless discussions and edits. You have been noticed, my friend. Your work is appreciated. The difference you have made to this site will be remembered. I wish you only the very best and hope to continue seeing your name throughout the site. Most gratefully, --Weeping Angel (talk) 21:24, 27 July 2017 (EDT)
Thanks for all the work, man. I know how it is, with activity dropping off as real life encroaches. Best of luck! -- Qura 'Morhek The Autocrat of Morheka 22:24, 27 July 2017 (EDT)
When they first made me an admin on Destinypedia, it was a big job to carry with, and I am thankful you were there to help guide and temper me. Your knowledge of wikimedia and constant help throughout the course of my rookie days was a tremendous gift. And one that I continue to look back on for guidance in my duties. Putting aside your myriad edits, special features and the countless times you made us templates, bots and even showed us some CSS, you were a spectacular friend to have and a great mentor. It was a pleasure serving with you and I wish you the best of luck in your new career. I salute you! Arcmind Execute long hold for reactivation. AI-COM/ACMD SIGNOFF 08:27, 28 July 2017 (EDT)
