Talk:BA-55901/PLMD
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
Should we make pages for all the components in GEN2 armor variants? I mean there is plenty with interesting names like this.
- YV-65: A duel-locked rebreather in the Pioneer helmet.
- PNR-S7: The type of pauldrons used by Pioneer
Just thought to bring this up in a relevant spot-CIA391 (talk) 17:33, 13 September 2016 (EDT)
- I noticed that many of the armor callouts we put into the Halo 4 Visual Guide have not yet been represented on Halopedia. I would however think it's overkill to make a page dedicated to something you can't write more than a single sentence about. It would be far more useful I think if this entry for instance was just a side note on the page for SPI armor rather than its own topic. For instance, the Recon visor type is the APL-72 (I know without even looking it up as it's a personal Easter egg of mine in the book). I wouldn't expect a page devoted to the APL-72 visor, but it would be perfectly fine as a mention on the Recon armor page. Just my 2 cents. -ScaleMaster117 (talk) 21:33, 13 September 2016 (EDT)
- Well thankfully in regards to armor. I put majority of those callouts in some form up onto Halopedia xD Hence why I noted the similar make up between the "BA-55901/PLMD" and so many other armor parts in that Guide(I would guess you had a say in that). Its why I had to ask if pages should be made on them after this page was made, cause if this deserves a page. Then everything deserves a page. And I go crazy with the ammount of pages I have to make. XD
- Regardless I do agree. If more info comes into play about a certain part. Then perhaps we can make a page, but right now no. Hopefully others agree and I can breath a sigh of relief.
- I had a handful of contributions among the minor armor callouts where needed, but I specifically asked that the Recon visor itself be named that. (It's the initials and birth year of a friend of mine, in case you were wondering.) I have many Easter eggs throughout both guides. Not much in Mythos though, by me anyway. -ScaleMaster117 (talk) 22:47, 13 September 2016 (EDT)
