Ranger harness

The Storm-based Ranger Harness.

The Ranger harness is an armor set used by Sangheili Rangers and Sangheili Ranger Commanders. Its role is completing missions that focus on extra-vehicular space combat.^[1]

Variants

Ancient ranger harness

During the the Taming of the Lekgolo, an unidentified Arbiter was given a Arbiter body armor based on the Ranger armor of the time.^[2]^[3]

Assault harness based

There is two versions of the Assault harness based Ranger harness.^[4]

With EVA faceshield

This version has a see-through EVA faceshield that the user can use to see. It also has full mobility in zero or low-gravity conditions, though can be used in planetside operations. This set is often fielded with an Covenant thruster pack.

Sangheili Rangers who use this set often go with a white color scheme, and Sangheili Ranger Commanders use a gold scheme. The Swords of Sangheilios use a maroon color scheme.

Without EVA faceshield

This version does not have a EVA faceshield, but has a helmet design closer to the Assault harness. It uses the main body design of the Sangheili combat harness but has two thruster packs on its pack.

Storm harness based

This version was created by Lodam Armory. Lodam armory based this version off their Storm harness.^[5]

This version is a lightly armored harness, that has a mesh suit that shielding extends over. Boots on this are able to magnetically latch if necessary. This version also has forelimb and hind-limb thrust control to help keep the user from losing control of their body. This armor is able to be used in space, radioactive sites, and other hazardous locations.^[6]
