A member of the Vadam family, Koida was one of its elders. He did not join the military service, and so was not permitted to add the "-ee" suffix to his name.[1] He initially voted in favor of making Thel 'Vadamee the Kaidon of the Vadam Keep, but later sent a trio of assassins to kill Thel. The assassins, however, failed.
Thel confronted the elders and upon discovering that Koida was the one responsible for the attempt on his life, angrily demanded to know why Koida had not voted against him or challenged him personally. Koida then attempted to kill Thel himself,[2] only to be decapitated by Thel with an Energy Sword. The Kaidon then gave Koida's lineage the chance to leave immediately or be killed.
