Jul 'Mdama Voice Actor

Who voices Jul 'Mdama? Shouldn't this information be added to the article's trivia section? --Xamikaze330 (talk|contribs) 11:57, 18 January 2013 (EST)Xamikaze330

Found the name, thank you Google. Mdama's voice actor is Travis Willingham.--Spartacus TalkContribs 12:05, 18 January 2013 (EST)
You're kidding me! Jul shares a voice actor with Roy "The Flame Alchemist" Mustang?!-- Qura 'Morhek The Autocrat of Morheka 04:12, 19 January 2013 (EST)

Needs Quotes Page

This page needs a quotes page, doesn't it? Someone should add it. I can work on it when I can, but I expect to be real busy in the next few hours in the next few days. There are things that need doing. That, and I'm not very good at auditory processing when it comes to verbal stuff I can't see written. --Xamikaze330 [Transmission|Commencing] 12:48, 30 October 2013 (EDT)Xamikaze330

I don't see why not. I can work on one later if someone doesn't beat me to the punch.--Spartacus TalkContribs 16:38, 30 October 2013 (EDT)

Daughters?

Where was it mentioned that he had daughters? Forgotten Helljumper 01:20, 1 November 2013 (EDT)

Eyes

Jul has orange eyes. What makes them seem blue is the light of the Librarian's shrine. The Master Builder (talk) 09:45, 23 August 2014 (EDT)

Jul's Arrival to Requem

It's stated Jul 'Mdama was at the Didact's Cryptum, but there was no Sangheili in blue Zealot Armor, plus with Gek 'Lhar's statement about how he hadn't expected the Didact's Hand so soon, leads me to think that the sangheili who calls the didact's name when John 117 releases him was just an unnamed Sangheili. Delta LXVII (talk) 16:17, 16 January 2015 (EST)

343i stating that Jul was in Halo 4 is likely just a retcon. After the game was released, they probably just decided that they wanted to have Jul witness the Didact's awakening. Additionally, he could have been off-screen. And there was six months between Halo 4 and Spartan Ops, so Jul's appearance on Requiem in Episode 3 may have been his first time on the planet since Halo 4. Also Gek's comment could imply that he didn't expect Jul to arrive only at the Librarian's Rest "so soon". - NightHammer (talk) 16:28, 16 January 2015 (EST)

Can I use this talk page to discus an important spoiler regarding Jul IF I use the spoiler tag

For example if I use this {{Hide|title=spoiler sample|insert spoiler here.}}

Can I post spoilers about Jul? I ask this because an official IGN and Gamespot playthrough of Halo 5 happened, and it reveals important information about Jul. Can I discuss it if it's spoiler tagged? Thanks Editorguy (talk) 19:28, 15 October 2015 (EDT)

No, game isn't out yet. Alertfiend - Team Chief 20:09, 15 October 2015 (EDT)

Right, but this isn't a leak. Snark without a bark (talk) 20:28, 15 October 2015 (EDT)
Right, but it is a spoiler, this game is still not out yet so it shouldn't be added. Alertfiend - Team Chief 20:32, 15 October 2015 (EDT)
We only accept content from official parties (Microsoft and 343i only). Anything from another party is considered a spoiler and shall not be allowed on the wiki until the day of release. This discussion is over.--Spartacus TalkContribs 00:13, 16 October 2015 (EDT)
But these sources are authorized by 343 and Microsoft. The rules state that "Information officially released by 343 will still be accepted", and this is 100% an official release of information. Sgt_Rorschach 15:36, 16 October 2015 (EDT)
But it wasn't released by 343, seriously? Alertfiend - Team Chief 16:07, 16 October 2015 (EDT)
To some extent I can see the opposing argument. Yes, 343 didn't release this footage themselves, but it was clearly authorized by them, otherwise IGN would've been told to take down the video by now. But at the same time, the extent of the footage is so large and plot-changing that it's better to keep it under wraps for now for anybody who wants to experience the first level unspoiled. If 343 were to all of a sudden release the entire story online today, I'd still recommend keeping it off until the official release date, for those who actually want to play the game first. So, Sunaion's Waypoint article spoils it as well... --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 22:24, 17 October 2015 (EDT)
I was about to post that aswell, I still believe we should wait to post it on this page, but okay to post it or avoid it on the Sunaion page. Alertfiend - Team Chief 22:25, 17 October 2015 (EDT)
I avoided mentioning it for now. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 22:26, 17 October 2015 (EDT)
The spoiler has been removed in the original Waypoint article for now. -- Qura 'Morhek The Autocrat of Morheka 22:56, 17 October 2015 (EDT)
Guess 343i didn't mean to release the spoiler at the moment. The mention of the reactivation of the Guardian was removed too. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 22:58, 17 October 2015 (EDT)

Jul's death date

The page has no source for his death date, and near as I can tell, there is no source for the mission to Kamchatka. Never mind that October 4th has some serious problems with established canon.
