Verent

Verent was an Outer Colony of the Unified Earth Government. Linda Pravdin, the future Spartan Linda-058, was born on Verent on March 19, 2511.[1] The colony ship Spirit of Fire was deployed to the world in 2520; this would be the ship's last mission before it was appropriated by the UNSC Navy as a combat support vessel.[2]
Verent was glassed during the Human-Covenant War when the Covenant attacked the world. Luther Mann and his family were among the few of the planet's inhabitants to escape the invasion.[3]
