Talk:Mission to Alpha Shard
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
February 7 date
Do we know (from Second Stories, etc.) if the mission actually took place the same day as the terrorist attack on Sedra? Seems a little quick of them to work everything out and then travel to Alpha Shard within one day, particularly without one of those Forerunner tech-enhanced slipspace drives. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 00:25, 9 December 2014 (EST)
- I wasn't for sure if the Mission actually took place in the same day, but when making the article I didn't see any evidence pointing towards it taking say a day later.Sith-venator Wavingstrider (Commlink) 00:28, 9 December 2014 (EST)
- Sure, but it's always a possibility. The Halo CE and Halo 4 campaigns take place over a span of four and five days, respectively, despite both being only hours of in-game time. Halos 2 and 3 have weeks-long gaps for slipspace jumps. Now I'm not saying they couldn't have reached Alpha Shard in a few hours—we don't know how close to Sedra it is, or how fast the Condor is supposed to be, though going by the Karen Traviss tradition of outdated slipspace-capable dropships they should make the trip in hours (a la the Calypso in Mortal Dictata), pre-Forerunner human slipspace velocities be damned. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 00:49, 9 December 2014 (EST)
Deaths of two Sedran soldiers
We actually didn't see on screen the two soldiers be killed, possibly one of them but however we didn't see them get killed on screen they could be needless possibly dead but they would be a fifty chance them might have been killed as it is impossible for them to have survived Alpha Shard. or Missing in Action though Svennson and Best where killed, the fate of the other man is unknown possibly dead, but did however Danford or Neir, or Kipley go to Alpha Shard?
