Kai-A019 was a SPARTAN-III Commando in the UNSC Navy Special Warfare Command.[1] He was aboard the same transport Pelican as Carter-A259, when the SPARTAN-IIIs were being sent to the UNSC Hopeful for augmentation. He is assumed to be KIA along with the rest of Alpha Company.
