Microsoft Studios (formerly known as Microsoft Game Studios) is a division of Microsoft which publishes video games. They own the rights to the Halo series. 343 Industries is an internal-build team of Microsoft Studios specifically assigned with managing the Halo franchise.
Microsoft is also credited for manufacturing the XBOX and XBOX 360 consoles, the only consoles that features the Halo franchise.
