An ocular implant is a type of artificial eye used by the UNSC to replace damaged eyes. The process is most likely similar to ocular prosthesis; however, it provides the user with vision as well as the physical eye itself.
After the Battle of Arcadia, a squad of Marines participated in a game of basketball with Spartan Team Omega, resulting in several injuries. Meadows in particular required an ocular implant.[1]
